Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky is the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria. He united Sunni Muslims, Shi’a Muslims, and Christians together to provide necessary social services for the Nigerian people – such as free medical care – as well as holding the Nigerian government accountable for corruption and subservience to “Israel,” Saudi Arabia, and America.

Nigeria is a country ravaged by terrorism carried out by the evil Boko Haram takfiri group. Zakzaky was bold enough to state that Boko Haram is a creation of the “Israeli” Mossad. Zakzaky and the IMN oppose terrorism in all its forms.

For Zakzaky and the IMN’s bold stand against the Zionist project in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, his movement was targeted. The Nigerian army opened fire on a peaceful Quds Day protest in support of Palestine and as a result, many were killed including three of Zakzaky’s sons. In 2015, while the IMN was engaged in a peaceful Arbaeen religious procession, the Nigerian army killed 1,000 unarmed IMN members (including his other three sons) and then raided Zakzaky’s home, injuring him and his wife before taking them into custody.

Despite a court order to release Zakzaky, the Nigerian government is still holding him captive.

There has been a deafening silence in the Muslim world, failing to aid Zakzaky, whether it is because he is Shi’a, black, African, and a revolutionary who isn’t afraid to call out global Zionism, very few are speaking out about this oppressed African lion.

The silence allows Zionist neoconservative think tank fellows from the nefarious Council on Foreign Relations to go on NPR to lie about the IMN’s activities and erroneously claim that the Shiites of Nigeria are two sides of the same coin as Boko Haram, when we know that Zakzaky was firm against terrorism and exposed the Nigerian government for perpetuating the “Israeli”-backed Boko Haram group.
