Around 1,400 years ago, Imam Hussain (as), a holy descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (saww), stood against a tyranny so vile, it was the embodiment of the perversion of religion by those who wish to abuse the garb of piety for money and power. On the hot plains of Karbala, Iraq, Imam Hussain was martyred along with the majority of his family members for refusing to bow before tyranny.
