In a world where celebrities and athletes engage in self-worship and command their fans and followers to worship them as a God-like figure, it is refreshing when public figures deflect attention away from their egos and instead call to the worship of God.

The entire Khabib-McGregor feud for months prior to the actual fight was exploited to morph it into a geopolitical event targeting the religion of Islam as well as the Russian Federation. The arrogant drunkard McGregor insulted Islam, Russia, Khabib’s family, and a whole slew of areas that are beyond the boundaries of respect. Rather than whine about it like the Zionist Anti-Defamation League does, Khabib stood up for his honor when it was under relentless threat and put Dillon Dannis and McGregor’s crew in their place, sending a message to Islamophobes everywhere that while some West-toxified sellout Muslims in the West may only whine and cry about Islamophobia, there are Muslims out there who still have their dignity and honor in tact and will stand up for themselves. Of course, we shouldn’t attack people without legitimate self-defense reasons, but this dignity & honor should be reflected even when we defend ourselves with non-violent means such as our speech. There is no dignity or honor in the ADL’s whiney perpetual victim mentality that so many Muslims have adopted. And such a lesson can be valued even by non-Muslims who find that they are under attack from arrogant monsters.

Even those who have dignity and honor must never let it get to their heads and must always remember to be humble. Alhamdulillah.
